Theater “Debut”

Theater “Debut” started its history in November 3, 1999. Its main task is creative education of children and propaganda of Jewish stage art. The number of its members who study the fundamentals of dramatic theory, production and actor’s art, Jewish theatrical tradition are continuously growing. Now it counts around 170 of its members. The theater fills children with the desire to work creatively, teaches them self-discipline and responsibility.

Theater “Debut” was a prize-winner and the winner of numerous theatrical festivals, including the 4^th International festival of children’s and youth creativeness in Moscow, theatrical festivals “Constellation of Lion” of 2002, 2004, 2006 in Lviv and “ Roaming stars” of 2005 – 2006 – 2007 – 2008 – 2009 – 2010 – 2011 – 2012 in Kiev, theatrical festivals of Tolerance of 2007, 2012 in St. Petersburg. The theater travels a lot all over the region giving its performances to the Hesed’s clients in Lviv, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Uzhgorod, Poltava, Kiev, Ivano-Frankivsk, etc.
